Swindon Town Centre Screams for Halloween

The town centre will undergo a spooky transformation this October… Thrills, chills and shocks await those who attend this year’s biggest family Halloween party.
The Swindon Screams annual event, will be moving to the town centre this year for the first time! inSwindon BID is delighted to be producing this event with Skywalkers – be prepared to be scared!
The event will take place on Sunday 29th October 2017at Swindon Meca. There will two sessions: 12-2pm or 3-5pm.
If your kids love to get spooky and dress up for Halloween then this is the event for you! There will be plenty of family-friendly activities for all to enjoy.
The festivities will see iconic film villains and heroes such as Freddy Krueger, Michael Myers, Beetle Juice and Hagrid. Children will also get to put on their best scary costume for the Halloween fancy dress competition.
The ferocious T-Rex is set to make a roaring appearance throughout the event, so there will be plenty of photo opportunities.
There will also be a children’s disco with Halloween host, Zombies, games and an opportunity for visitors to sit in a former electric chair. To add a little magic to the event, you will also get a chance to meet Hagrid lookalike from Hogwarts School of Witchcraft and Wizardry.
There will a performance from Swindon Dance titled “Watching”. A spooky, yet exciting dance performance that guarantees a thrilling ride. Plus, Julie Scotts Academy will be showing off their spooky moves – watch if you dare!
